Trek Epic is an inner and outer JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY — discover your CORE GIFTS, ways to bring them into the WORLD, new PEOPLE, distant LANDSCAPES where two epic walking ADVENTURES provide both a LAUNCH toward your INDIVIDUALIZED gap experience and a CAPSTONE to celebrate what you have LEARNED and prepare you to implement the INTENSIONS you have committed to for your FUTURE.

Our 2022 Schedule of Treks is as follows:
April 21st - 30th, 25-32 year old range, Portugal - Lisbon to Fatima
June 17th - 25th, 18-24 year old range, Pembrokeshire - Tenby to St. David's
Sept 8th-17th, 18-24 year old range, Normandy, Cherbourg to Mont Saint Michel
Sept 18th - 27th, Normandy, Core Gift Institute, Adult Pilgrimage

Trek Epic is a non profit 501(c)(3) corporation. As such, our programs are partially sponsored through the generosity of our donors. Additional scholarships available upon request based on need.
Program Learning Outcomes
- Through the Core Gift Discovery and Initiation participants learn to utilize their Gifts.
- Gifts form the basis for enduring relationships. Participants form strong bonds together, mentor each other, and stand by each other in difficult times.
- Gifts identify the most important contribution a person makes to their community.
- Gifts provide a feeling of security, authority, groundedness, and well-being in a person.
- Giving of one's Core Gift is a fundamental motivator in a person's life.
- Gifts provide the most meaningful way to welcome a person into a group.
- Gifts are connected to the difficult situations a person encounters in their life. To truly understand this dynamic is empowering.
- Gifts provide problem-solving help to overcome challenges people invariably face throughout their lives.
- Core Gifts are utilized throughout the Trek Epic experiences to form and implement goals specific to one's life, educational and career paths.
Knowing their core gifts helps emerging young adults to accurately identify significant aspects of who they are, it can form the foundation from which they make important decisions related to self, family, work, learning and community. Being acknowledged for their gifts by others also helps to strengthen their ability to feel good about themselves and tells them that they have a value to their community and an important contribution to make in the world. Trek Epic is designed for nothing short of these outcomes as our trekkers walk into the future on a more purposeful path.
Staff Training and Certification
Trek Epic was founded in 2011 by Andrew Bryan, educational consultant, and Leslie Johnson. Our 10 day trek program has been developed through the experience of guiding numerous treks and the invaluable input and insight among those who count themselves a part of the Trek Epic community!
