Mission Statement:
Marco Polo Culture Exchange Program was inspired by Marco Polo, the world famous traveller who lived in China for 17 years before returning home with an appreciation for Chinese culture.
We invite foreign young people with high quality and interest in Chinese culture to live and experience traditional Chinese families and their children. Young people from all over the world can experience local Chinese life, explore Chinese culture and have the opportunity to learn Chinese.
There are no fees to participate in the program, nor to apply or get your Chinese visa. Applicants only need to pay for their airfare to China and other necessary daily expenditures (transportation, food, shopping, laundry, etc). - Level of Independence/Supervision (mouse-over for definition):

The calendar is generally based on the mutual communication.Participants are able to adjust the resting days and to be settled up after the communication with the Chinese family.

Staff Training and Certification
MCPL Program are exceptional people of extraordinary character and experience. They are enthusiastic about serving others, travel, adventure, and most importantly, helping participants learn and better fit in the Chinese environment. MCPL's comprehensive Staff Training sets the industry standard and is the prototype for many similar programs. Training focusing on safety, Chinese dynamics, traffic, communications, and emergency procedures. The landing training will be completed by the staff within 2 days.
