Mission Statement:
CET Academic Programs is a study abroad organization that has been developing and delivering innovative educational programs abroad since 1982. Originally China Educational Tours, CET began operations in Beijing, later expanding to other locations around the world. Today, CET offers a varied portfolio of semester, summer, and short-term customized programs around the world for college, high school, pre-college, and gap year students. Known for strong academics, professional program management, and supportive student services, CET strives to integrate students into their host communities, adopt environmentally conscientious practices, and promote diversity and inclusion across all programs.

CET is committed to increasing access to study abroad for gap students. CET has a financial assistance pool for students who demonstrate family financial need. Award amounts usually range from $250 to $2,000. Applying is easy within your CET application and we’ll notify you about financial assistance shortly after your program application has been reviewed.

Staff Training and Certification
Each CET program is staffed by full-time, on-site professionals familiar with the location and fluent in the local language. All staff are available to assist and support students throughout their term abroad, from in-country orientation through the end of the program and beyond. Resident staff provide a bridge between our students and the local community. Academic staff supervise the curriculum, manage the faculty, and monitor courses.
